What counts as a dental emergency?

If you're experiencing any of the following, please get in touch with us as soon as possible:

  • Severe or persistent toothache
  • A knocked-out, broken or loose tooth
  • Significant swelling of the face, gums or mouth
  • A lost or broken filling, crown or denture
  • Bleeding that won't stop, or an injury to the mouth

Out of hours

If you need urgent help when we're closed, call the practice for our out-of-hours guidance. For severe swelling affecting your breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious injury, call NHS 111or attend your nearest A&E.

In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999.
